Are You Spiritually Battle Weary? I have been lately. I heard it said that if you are not feeling the effects of spiritual warfare, you really have to evaluate whether or not you are even in the battle. I try to understand as much as a person can what is written about in *Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.* And even knowing those things, it does not take away the feelings that I am experiencing or giving me any peace in the moment. Sometimes the greatest battle is simply finding the strength to keep standing when your heart and mind are weary from the fight. There are moments when knowing the Word does not make the struggle disappear, but it reminds me that I am not standing alone in it. Even in our weariness, God is still present, still faithful, and still calling us to endure. Some people read what I write and make comments about how I should do this or that. I do want to thank you for your concern, and also want to let you all know that I do understand who I am fighting and what I need to do. I pray often about what is written in *1 Peter 5:8 Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.* There are many attacks that I seem to witness every day, some against me, others against my family and those I love and care about, and still more in the world around me. I do want to encourage all of us that are Battle Weary to put on the full Armor of God as listed in Ephesians 6. Remember that a knight in shining armor is a man that has never had his armor truly tested. I read a quote that was an encouragement to me and I pray it is to all who are in the depths of warfare as well. “The devil cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Money cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me. And hell cannot handle me. I am a child of the most High God…I am a soldier, marching heaven-bound. Here I Stand! Who will you stand with me?” My friends, if you are Battle Weary and are feeling overcome in the warfare, call on me and we will fight the enemy together, locking shields, encouraging one another to endure to the end. And if you are tired, you do not have to be ashamed of your weariness, because even soldiers of faith can become weary in the battle. Let us remember that none of us was called to fight this fight alone, and there is strength when we stand together, pray together, and lift one another up. Whether you are strong today or barely able to take another step, there is a place for you among us, and your battle matters. So if you are Battle Weary, wounded, discouraged, or simply in need of someone to stand beside you, know that I will stand with you the best I can and I pray that we will all stand together. Closing thought, we must always remember that we are fighting from victory, not for victory, because Jesus defeated death upon the cross. My prayer: Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, strengthen every weary warrior who is standing in the midst of spiritual battle, and remind us that no weapon formed against us will prosper because our victory is found in You. Clothe us with the full Armor of God, give us discernment to recognize the enemy, courage to stand against every attack, and faith to keep moving forward when the battle becomes fierce. Unite Your people together as one body, teaching us to lock shields, carry one another when we are weak, pray for one another when we are under attack, and refuse to leave a brother or sister behind on the battlefield. We stand today not in fear, but in the authority and victory of Jesus Christ, declaring that we belong to You, that our families belong to You, that our future belongs to You, and that no power of darkness can separate us from Your love, in the mighty and victorious name of Jesus, Amen.

My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
