Have you ever really thought about why ‘they’—a combination of intellectual thinkers, legal decisions, political institutions, cultural activists, and individuals who explicitly advocated for a more secular public sphere—have contributed to the removal of God from many areas of our society? The answer is simple according to Scripture, it is because of the fact that those who follow God fear no man. As we read the Bible, we can see prophetic warnings that cause us to seriously examine what has been happening for years and whether the world is moving toward the kind of New World Order agenda described in Scripture. One World Government (Revelation 13:7), One World Leader (Daniel 7:4-7, Revelation 13:2), One World Religion (Revelation 13:8), One World Currency (Revelation 13:16-18). And this is how it started. (1) Fear – do this or something bad will happen. (2) Flattery – do this and you’re a good person. (3) Bribery – do this and you will get something special. (4) Violence – do this or else. For those that may be unaware, to me it looks like we may be bordering between (3) and (4). There are hidden forces at play in our society who work for the enemy that are doing their best to make things happen. One challenge that I am unable to understand is why certain people are too blind to see the truth. When a society pushes God out, it does not become free from influence; it simply becomes vulnerable to every other voice that is willing to take His place. We cannot afford to surrender our discernment, our convictions, or our courage simply because standing for truth makes us uncomfortable and possibly persecuted. If we truly believe that God’s Word is our Document of Authority we claim it to be, then we must have the courage to follow it even when the world around us tells us to remain silent. I pray over what is written in *Luke 21:34 But take heed to yourselves and be on your guard, lest your hearts be overburdened and depressed (weighed down) with the giddiness and headache and nausea of self-indulgence, drunkenness, and worldly worries and cares pertaining to [the business of] this life, and [lest] that day come upon you suddenly like a trap or a noose; 35 For it will come upon all who live upon the face of the entire earth. 36 Keep awake then and watch at all times [be discreet, attentive, and ready], praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things [taken together] that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.* I don’t want people to just believe what I say, I want you to do your due diligence and research what I say. Many have said that they have looked into what is going on in the world around them but most people haven’t researched anything and it is highly probable that they don’t even know how to. People read a little something, watched a video or two, or come across some propaganda that aligns with the world view and say, “All is okay, sounds good to me”. One day it will dawn on many that the people that have been ridiculed and dismissed as conspiracy theorists were just family and friends who loved others enough to tell them the truth whether it was well received or not. The truth is out there, you just need to be ready to have the scales removed from your eyes to be able to see it. If you don’t see what’s happening, I would simply ask that you consider whether you have honestly examined the evidence for yourself or whether you have accepted what you have been told without questioning it, potentially leaving you in a state of mind where the truth becomes difficult to recognize even when it is right before your eyes as if you were brainwashed. Many in the church need to understand what Charles Spurgeon said so clearly a long time ago “Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It is knowing the difference between right and almost right.” Closing thought, just because it comes from a pulpit doesn’t make it 100%. Search out the truth in our Document of Authority, the Bible, before it’s too late. Do not allow fear, comfort, pressure, or the opinions of others to determine what you believe; open the Word of God and search it for yourself. Pray for wisdom, ask God to expose anything that is false, and have the courage to obey what He reveals even when obedience comes with a cost. Our responsibility is not to blindly follow a person, a movement, or a popular opinion, but to remain awake, discerning, faithful, and anchored in Christ. The one thing I pray that all who read this gets, I am not just talking about a political theory or geopolitical concern, it’s a call for Christians to be spiritually alert and grounded in Scripture. The time to prepare your heart, strengthen your faith, and know the truth is not someday—it is today. Don’t trust me blindly. Don’t trust the world blindly. Don’t even trust a pulpit blindly. Search the Word and find the truth for yourself.
