Everything we do for God comes at a cost. It can be expensive to be effective for the kingdom, it could cost you everything that you ever wanted, everything you dreamed of having or doing, even your goals and ambitions for the future could change. God has entrusted some of His children with position, power, authority, and some with possessions to use for His glory. For the rest of us, He has given all of us one thing to give away that we can never get back, and that is time, and we need to remember that every moment we live needs to be used for His purpose, we need to be intentional to be at His disposal for His glory. “Christians” are called to make a difference in this world and once we figure out what that difference is, our lives will change forever, and for those we come in contact with, hopefully theirs will change for eternity. I pray often about what is written in *1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.* I have seen God’s sovereign hand involved in the lives of certain individuals that He has brought into my sphere of influence and have come to understand the responsibility that comes along with it. Brethren, we are the church, we are to be the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus, this is our time to show our lost and broken world the heart of God. We must be willing to serve the Lord with our whole being no matter what the cost. Heaven will not measure our lives by comfort, success, or applause from this world, but by our obedience to the will of God and our love for others. I have seen too many “believers” who are satisfied with a comfortable faith that requires little sacrifice and produces little fruit. The gospel was never meant to fit conveniently into our schedules while leaving our hearts unchanged and our priorities untouched. Following Christ demands daily surrender, not only when it is easy, accepted, or beneficial to us personally. There are souls all around us carrying burdens in silence, searching for hope, truth, and love, and many of them may never step inside a church building. That is why we must be willing to carry the light of Christ into dark places, even when we are misunderstood, rejected, or opposed. Every act of obedience, every conversation led by compassion, and every moment spent encouraging someone in the Lord has eternal value. Every sacrifice made for Christ becomes an eternal seed planted into the lives of people who may one day stand in glory because someone chose to obey God. We cannot allow fear, distractions, or worldly pursuits to consume the time and calling God has entrusted to us. The Lord did not save us merely to observe the condition of the world, but to impact it through prayer, truth, humility, and unwavering love. When we truly understand the mercy God has shown us, serving Him becomes not a burden, but a privilege that shapes every part of our lives. I read, ” Western Christianity uses faith to attain stability & comfort. Biblical Christianity risks life and limb to advance God’s Kingdom.” Have you noticed that Biblical Christianity is unpopular and Popular Christianity is unbiblical? Let me ask you a question, “What is more important to you than winning the souls of those around you for the kingdom?” for it is the only thing in the world that God and the devil are battling over. Not gold or silver, jobs or popularity, only souls. We need to put in perspective that nothing on earth is more precious than a lost soul and it also needs to be our greatest investment of time. May we never become too distracted, too comfortable, or too fearful to answer the call God has placed upon our lives. Let us love people deeply, serve faithfully, and carry the message of Jesus boldly while there is still time. The kingdom of God is not advanced by perfect people, but by surrendered hearts that are willing to be used for His glory. May we live with such passion for Jesus that when our time on earth is finished, there will be no regret that we held back anything from the One who gave everything for us. May we stand together as one body in Christ, united in compassion, conviction, and passion for the souls of men and women everywhere.
My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
