There are certain people in my life that motivate me to be a better person. They incentivize me to draw closer to God because of what He is doing with them, in them, and through them. Their lives serve as living testimonies that God is still moving, still restoring, and still calling His people closer to Him. There are many aspects of my life where I feel blessed beyond measure. I am thankful for my grandchildren’s faith because I have seen the face of God through them as well as His faithfulness. In their innocence and trust, I am reminded of what it truly means to believe without wavering. Recently I was sharing with a spam caller about Jesus, and when I got hung up on, I said, “I am going to tell others about Jesus till the day I die.” Then I heard the voice of my eight-year-old grandson Thieodore say, “Then I will tell them after that.” This truly moved my heart. As for my spiritual family, I am regularly encouraged by my brothers and sisters in Christ because of their reliability, dedication, and true-heartedness as my friends. Their consistency strengthens my walk and challenges me to remain steadfast in my own journey. The genuineness that I have witnessed in some new believers gives me hope that there is still work to be done. Their hunger for truth reignites a passion in me to continue growing and serving with purpose. One person that inspires me, I guess the most, to love more, is my daughter, Tiasia Blaser, whose birth I celebrate today (not going to mention how old she is because that could get me in trouble), but I am 62 years old and to think I was 30 when she was born. Feel free to do the math on your own, lol. I have seen her experience some traumatic challenges throughout her life and overcome them because of her faith in God, her trust in the Lord Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through every trial, she has shown resilience that could only come from a deep and abiding relationship with God. My prayer for her is reflected in what is written in *Ephesians 1:17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength.* My encouragement not only to my daughter but to all women of God who are raising children is from Charles Spurgeon: “You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, & training them up in God’s fear, & minding the house, & making your household a church for God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of hosts.” Happy Birthday to Tiasia. I am so proud of you and blessed to have you in my life. You inspire me to be a better person every day by the way that you have allowed God to work in you and through you. The love that you pour out to those around you is genuine and true. May God continue to guide your steps and enlarge your territory as you walk faithfully in His purpose. I thank Him daily for the gift of you and the impact you have on everyone blessed to know you. Your life is a light, and I pray it continues to shine brightly for His glory always, May the Lord richly bless you my beloved daughter.
My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
