There are moments in life when as you look back at them you realize that you are not lucky, that you are blessed. Last night was one of those times for me. The past couple weeks have been a struggle trying to accomplish all that is before me with family, ministry, work, trying to fulfill my purpose before God, and for the most part I feel that I have failed more times than not. It has been a struggle to focus and prepare on just about everything, but by the grace of God things seem to work out. We had the First Friday Potluck last night and I had asked a few people to do worship for it to no avail. As I prayed, I remember listening to my granddaughters sing a few songs off the radio, and they sounded amazing. So the more I prayed the more I was led to have them sing, with the help of Spotify in the background. Three songs up front and one following the teaching, God is in this Story, Nobody, My Jesus, and closing with My God Is An Awesome God. The heart they put in was breathtaking. Even though the night was a little light, it was probably the most memorable event I have ever been a part of in a long time. I reflect on what is written in *Psalms 103:15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children* A few generations down the line I will not be remembered before men, but one thing I am sure of is that the worship my grandchildren did last night will be remembered forever among the angels of heaven.  The teaching was on Spiritual Growth and Maturity, and how so many come to church but never come to Jesus, but last night we could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit  come to us as we were taken before the throne of grace and mercy in worship. The food was good too, lol.
