There are people who have done horrible things by human standards and yet have confessed Jesus as Lord, repented, and will be in heaven whereas some who are reading this may not. Some of those who no one would have ever thought would make it to heaven are David Berkowitz (son of Sam), Charles “Tex” Watson (follower of Charles Manson), Jeffrey Dahmer (Milwaukee Cannibal), Douglas Blaser (Sinner), Insert Your Name Here (______). I have heard it said that if God will allow “that person in heaven then I don’t want to go”. FYI, there are not enough “good works” anyone can do to get them into heaven or enough “evil works” to keep them out. It is written in *Romans 3:10 As it is written and forever remains written, “There is none righteous [none that meets God’s standard], not even one* and also in *Romans 3:23 since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God*. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I know that I fall short one way or another every day. That is why I am thankful for what is written in *Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.* The only way to heaven according to the Bible, God’s word, is by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, surrendering completely to His Lordship. Two of my favorite verses are *Romans 10:9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.* When those scriptures are tied together with probably the most well known verse in the Bible we can have peace not only with God but of God. It is written in *John 3:16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that who(so)ever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.* God’s standards are impossible to meet by human effort. No one “deserves” to go to heaven. “Everyone” deserves to go to hell, “everyone.” I am very thankful that God has made a way to get me to heaven, through the precious blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, by His grace and mercy. I like what Charles Spurgeon said, “There may be some sins of which a man cannot speak, but there is no sin which the blood of Christ cannot wash away.” Dear heavenly Father, please help all the “WHOSOEVERS” understand Your love, grace, and mercy, in Jesus’ precious and powerful name, Amen.

My BeLoved, may the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
