There are different types of people who go to church on Sunday mornings, as well as different types of churches they go to, and they listen to a variety of different messages. The question that all people who call themselves “Christian” must ask themselves is, what am I, a sheep or goat? The words of Charles Spurgeon are becoming more and more evident with every passing day, where he said, “A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats!” It comes down to self evaluation as to whether we are genuine believers who are seekers of truth, or are we those who are just unconverted heathens who are looking to find favor with God because of our works? For some of us we have Pastors who fear God and preach on repentance, teach biblical principles, lead their congregations to get involved in discipleship courses, bible studies, go to classes on biblical history, and find ways to grow spiritually.  Believers are encouraged to learn about God’s attributes, character, His way of holiness, His works in the scriptures, and are inspired to search the scriptures daily to understand who God is and what His will is all about. There are some Pastors who inform their congregations where to find in the scripture how to think and not speak from the pulpit what to think. For others though, they seek out Pastors who tickle their ears, teach false doctrine, show signs and wonders, and practice disobedience to God’s word to be able to have more people in the audience and to put more money in the bank. I pray over what is written in *Matthew 15:8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’* For many, they will never learn through scripture who God is because the shepherds that are guiding them are worldly men, who are nothing more than unregenerate salesmen, charlatans, wolves who are there for the income and not the outcome, not even having abandoned a sinful lifestyle. Brethren, in a time where truth is muddled and countless voices fight for our attention, we must urgently ask for discernment by the Holy Spirit. We need to pray, and not only pray but diligently study, so that when we speak, we are pointing to God, not ourselves. Do not be swayed by the charisma of personality, as it often masks the absence of character, but look for genuine believers—those who are humble, broken, confessing their sins, and living a lifestyle of repentance. Seek out those who dig for the deep, hidden treasures in Scripture and share that solid food with others. Dear Lord, help us to love what You love and hate what You hate. Give us the wisdom to discern between truth and error, and the courage to avoid teachers who do not point to You, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog

I am encouraged to see certain verses playing out before my eyes like what is written in *Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.*
