What is more important to you, one spiritual friend who leads you to God or many ungodly people who are focused on worldly things? As you contemplate that question, evaluate those that you surround yourself with and take a good long look and see what kind of people you have in your life. I know that it is not always easy to share what the word of God says because many are worried about offending others not understanding that by staying silent they are really offending God. It has never been my intention to offend anyone but it has also never been my intention “Not” to offend by sharing the truth of God’s word. When a person takes a stand for what is right and true, that individual will usually receive a whole lot of hate or at least push back, and most likely only a little bit of love and encouragement. As Christians, we need to make sure the world around us knows where we stand and what we are fighting for, the souls of mankind. I am fearful for not only myself but for all those who know what to do and don’t do it, especially when we look at what is written in *Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’* If you are a child of the Lord, a servant of God Most High, and are silent about your beliefs because you are worried someone will be offended, then your beliefs are not what is important to you, but the opinions of others are. As warriors for the kingdom we must never worry about who will be offended if we speak the truth of God’s word in Love but we need to have deep concern about who will be misled, deceived, or even destroyed and damned to hell if we don’t. For those who may read this that do not know God please consider that if you have someone in your life who is bold enough to tell you what God’s word says and not what the world wants you to hear, a person who cares more about where you will spend eternity than your earthly comfort, find a way to thank them, people like that are few and far between. I like what Charles Spurgeon said many years ago, “To stand alone for God in such an evil age as this, is a great honour. … How few care to swim against the current! A strong stream is running in opposition to the truth of God… If you are loyal to Christ, show it now.” Closing encouragement: A warrior stands on God’s promises, rooted in His Word, declaring victory before seeing it. Partnering with God as He makes His enemies His footstool, fighting from a place of established victory. Being girt with strength for battle by God, not relying on worldly means but on His power as seen written about in *Psalms 18:39 For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.” I am encouraged and desire to encourage others to be Prayer Warriors and to fight every spiritual battle through prayer, putting on our spiritual armor every day, using God’s armor to overcome adversity and be fearless. Being assured that victory is fought and won through faith in God, not personal might, is one of the greatest acknowledgements we can make.
