In the times that we are living in, what has more power in your life Truth or Fear? In all honesty everyone is biased in one way or another. The problem is that for some, with all that has happened over the past few years, a majority of people are so caught up in the possibility of dying that they are too afraid to live. When information comes our way we no longer seek the truth, most people are looking for something that will make them feel good and be able to help them sleep better at night. The honest truth is, one out of one people die, the only difference will be location, location, location. For the Christian, it comes down to, do you believe the word of God or the propaganda and rhetoric that is being spouted by people that do not know God? Character really does Matter when it comes to who you listen to for the information pertaining to everlasting life. There are many verses that God has laid on my heart that have changed the way I look at how to handle just about every situation I go through. It is written in *Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.* and *Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.* The words of Matthew Henry bring conviction to my heart, “It is not enough to speak of the things of God, and to enquire about them, but we must do it with a suitable concern. If we speak of eternal life, and the way to it, in a careless manner, merely as a matter of discourse, especially as a matter of dispute, we do but take the name of God in vain.” What is far more impactful to me are the words of the Lord Jesus written in *John 17:14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.* My beloved, we must truly comprehend that there is no home for the living in the land of the dead. A friend of this world is an enemy of God. Brethren, we are “Not Of This World” and we must stop living like we are. Maranatha, Come Quickly Lord Jesus. And all of God’s people say, Amen. My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
