Follow, Default, Unfollow, Unfriend, Block. With these settings, you can pick and choose the information and the people you want to see. If you have worldly friends, you can set it where they can see yours and you don’t have to see theirs. There are also some people that you just do not want to deal with because of one reason or another and those you block. As I think about these settings, I see the different ways I have treated my personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. Some days I choose to follow close, desiring to deeply worship and obey. Other days, it has been more like a default, if something happens, great and if not I am okay with that as well. In my past, when I knew I was actively sinning, it was more like, unfollow and let the chips fall where they may. Then, the times before I knew Jesus, it was definitely unfriend even though I felt Him calling me to Himself. When Jesus met Matthew, it was a simple meeting with powerful words, it is written in *Matthew 9:9…He saw a man named Matthew (Levi) sitting in the tax collector’s booth; and He said to him, “Follow Me [as My disciple, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk].” And Matthew got up and followed Him.* Jesus said the same powerful words to Peter and Andrew as seen written in *Mark 1:16 As Jesus was walking by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon [Peter] and Simon’s brother, Andrew, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me [as My disciples, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.”18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him [becoming His disciples, believing and trusting in Him and following His example].* The settings you choose today can determine your eternal destiny when you die? Even though it may not be easy I desire to “Follow Him [as His disciples, accepting Him as my Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that He walked].” It really comes down to only two choices, you are either a follower of the Lord Jesus or a fool. When you look in the mirror, deep into your own spirit, which one do you see? My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog
