Today is one day of the year that is set apart specifically to give thanks to God for the blessings that we have received. There are some on this day that will feel alone and abandoned, some have broken hearts, broken families, broken lives, and if you are experiencing these feelings and emotions, I want you to know that I am praying for you. Even with the challenges I live with, I am still able to see glimpses of things to be thankful for, family, friends, my health, today’s daily bread, and in reality so much more. I often pray over what is written in *Psalms 95:1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. 3 For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.* My house is not huge, and yet, it is so full of love, the love of my family and at many times the love of our friends. I may not have a spouse, but I have many people who genuinely love and care for me. I may not be rich, but I have a roof over my head, clothes to wear, and food to eat. As I get older, I wake up with aches and pains, and yet I am still able to walk and do things that need to be done. I do not have a shiny new truck, but I am thankful that mine gets me from point “A’” to point “B”. There have been times throughout my life that I have gotten tunnel vision. The only things that I have been able to see are the pain and misery in my life and the lives of others that I love and care about. I want to be done letting the enemy take away my joy, I do have A Wonderful Life. Today, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I vow to count my blessings from this day forward, give glory to God for all that I have, and rejoicing even more for my salvation in and through the Lord Jesus. I want to be intentional in being thankful for all that God has given me, and also, all that He has taken away that I thought I wanted but didn’t really need. I am thankful for all of you who read what I write, those who pray for my family and I, encourage me, and support us in the various ways that you do, you are all genuinely valued. If you are struggling today to have the joy and the peace of the Lord, know that Jesus loves you and I love you too! Happy Thanksgiving! My BeLoved, may the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog

Special Note: I want to thank those who read what I write and are encouraged to support the ministry God has entrusted to me either one time or have decided to give on a monthly basis. I am encouraged to see certain verses playing out before my eyes like what is written in *Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.*
