There are many decisions that we make every day that we need God’s wisdom to help us in making the correct choices for our life. At times I have gotten impatient and went ahead and did something without clear vision and direction from the Lord and more times than not I have regretted my actions. I read the words written in * James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.* and come to understand that all I need to do is ask. Do I take this job or that job? Sell the house or stay? Trust the doctor or get a second opinion? Serve in this ministry or another? I have heard people say that “they know what they need to do and God needs to get on board”, this can be a dangerous perspective to live in. There are many people in relationships that they should not be in and for those who are questioning I would like to share something I read, “It is better to wait long than to marry wrong”. We don’t know God’s plan for us for tomorrow, next week, or next year but we can know with confidence where God guides He provides. No matter what our future holds, we must ask and trust in the One who holds our future in His hands. Remember what is written in *James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile].* No matter what decision you need to make, schooling, a job, a relationship, finances, etc. the wisdom from above is far greater than any earthly wisdom. Brethren, may we trust in the God who is from everlasting to everlasting and not be self-serving. Ask God and wait expectantly upon the answer for we need to remember what is written in *James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow [a]cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].* My BeLoved, may the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog

I am encouraged to see certain verses playing out before my eyes like what is written in *Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.*
