There are some people who knowingly live a lie thinking, “I will just fake it till I make it.” I have had close friends who walked side by side with me in ministry, that seem to have departed from Christ for one reason or another. The question that many ask is, “Did they lose their salvation?” while others ask, “Did they even have it in the first place?” When I read certain scriptures, at times it becomes clear and other times it muddies up the water a little bit. I find some clarity when I look at what is written in *1 John 2:19 They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us.* I am convicted by what C. S. Lewis said, “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” I check myself regularly, “Is it real, or am I just going through the motions?” and in all truth, sometimes it is more the motions, sort of like cruise control with out much thought or emotion. I have at times lost my passion due to the busyness of life. I look at what is written in *Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).* When it comes to “once saved, always saved” there will always be some form of discussion, but the reality of the matter is that whether they walked away or never knew Jesus in the first place, the final truth is, both of those types of people need to repent and come to Jesus before it’s too late. I have read the end of the Bible, I know what is coming, if you are not living wholeheartedly for Jesus, humble yourselves, Repent and Be Saved before it’s too late. If you don’t know Jesus it will be hell for you. If you want to know Him please feel free to reach out to me or someone in your local community who you can find who is mature in their Christian faith. My BeLoved, may the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog

I am encouraged to see certain verses playing out before my eyes like what is written in *Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.*
