My greatest desire is to be with Jesus and take as many people with me as possible. I look forward to going to heaven every day because I have experienced the love of my Savior. Another part of my desire to go to heaven is not having to deal with the pain of my past, the world’s sin, and then there are times that I am just tired and worn out because of all that is going on in my life. I believe that there is a purpose for every believer to accomplish before we go though. Not sure what others think their purpose is, to me, it is to know Jesus and make Him known. Charles Spurgeon wrote, “You have never truly found Jesus if you do not tell others about Him”. I wait expectantly for Jesus’ return and yet somehow, sad to say, in the flesh, I get distracted. The busyness of life, family, work, friends, ministry, being A.D.H.D. all cause me to get troubled, lose focus and even question my faith at times. I look at certain verses for encouragement, and one that I cling to is written in *John 14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.* The best part is, Jesus has been preparing a place for each of us for over 2000 years, I am confident that it will be amazing. Beloved brethren, Jesus said He is coming back and I believe Him. We must be confident, stay on task, and trust what He has said. Remember with anticipation the words written in *2 Timothy 4:8 In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing.* There is a word, Maranatha which means, “Come Quickly Lord Jesus”. MARANATHA my friends. May we continue to answer the call of the Lord to fulfill His plans and purpose for each of our lives, and wait expectantly for His return. Amen. My BeLoved, may the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen. In Christ Love, douglas. HE>i. pastord.blog

Special Note: I want to thank those who read what I write and are encouraged to support the ministry God has entrusted to me either one time or have decided to give on a monthly basis. I am encouraged to see certain verses playing out before my eyes like what is written in *Philippians 4:16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.*
