God never had a word written to scare the believers, but to prepare them for what is coming. If you are reading your Bible with fervency to find the truth like your life depends on it, none of what is going on in our world today will surprise you. What was written so long ago is being played out right before our very eyes. As followers of the Lord Jesus, it’s time to stop downplaying biblical prophecy and start warning people that the consequences of a life without Him will be hell. I am convicted by what is written in *Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.* Many in the church seem to have fallen asleep or have become complacent in the calling that God has put upon His people, especially in the pulpits. The body of Christ has been misled, we must understand that the “Church” is not an audience to be entertained, but an army to be empowered. There will be a cost, but let me ask you all, what is a soul worth? A soul is worth whatever it takes to save it. I pray fervently that the people I know are not those who are written about in *Revelation 20:15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.* We must set aside our personal goals and agendas, and prepare for the battle before us to save souls. Beloved, we are not called to live like the rest of the world. The kingdom of God is built by those who go out and fight. RISE UP people of God! We are called to be warriors for the kingdom. We were made to fight for the kingdom. We are called to advance the kingdom. My question is, are you truly living your life as if Jesus could come back at any moment or just for your own pleasure and worldly lust? Beloved, we must pray for the lost, praise God in the battle, and proclaim the Gospel to all who will listen. And if those who you are sharing with do not listen, kick the dust off your feet and move on to those who will. I liken to the words of Charles Spurgeon, “Time is short. Eternity is long. It is only reasonable that this short life be lived in the light of eternity.” Maranatha, Come quickly Lord Jesus.
