Dear Lord God, I thank you for this day. I want to bring to You my praise before I bring my petition, for You are an Awesome God, and being with You is all I really need for my life. Thank You for revealing Yourself to me through Your Word, by Your Spirit, and in all that You created. I stand in awe of You everyday. You alone are worthy of praise and glory and honor, for You have created all things for Your purpose, by Your power, for the Love for mankind. With my whole heart I praise You, for nothing else is worthy of praise when compared to You. I praise You because You are trustworthy and true. I praise You because You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I praise You for Your faithfulness. I praise You for Your great power and Love. I confess my need for You every moment of every day. When my life doesn’t go so well, and when I just spin around on my own, You are always there to calm me down and restore my peace. When I struggle and worry, get weary and worn, You never leave me, and always strengthen me for the work at hand. Thank You for Your presence when I am in darkness. Thank You for Your care over me when I feel lost and alone. Thank You that You breathe renewal right into my soul. I ask for Your Holy Spirit to fill me, to draw me close to Yourself, and to work Your purposes through me, as I set my eyes on You. I thank You for Your forgiveness and understanding. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me in spite of who I am or what I’ve done. Forgive me this day for everything I will do, say, or think that will not be pleasing to You. I ask now for Your direction over my life. I have been really struggling lately with things that only You can help me walk through. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm unless that is what You would have me walk in. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Help me to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through Your eyes and acknowledge it as evil, and when I sin, let me repent quickly, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness I need from You. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus’ example — to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It’s the best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can’t pray, You will listen to my heart. Please continue to use me to accomplish Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for those who are brokenhearted and downtrodden. I pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way, because I was one of them. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood because I know that all too well. I pray for those who don’t know You intimately. I pray for those who don’t believe, and I praise You that I believe and thank You for revealing Yourself to me in the time that You did. I believe that You change people and You change circumstances. I pray for all my brothers and sisters who are fighting battles that only they and You know about. I pray for every family member in their households to have peace, Love, and joy in their homes. May all their needs be met in a way that glorifies You. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than our God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that reads them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. In the Lord Jesus’ precious and powerful name, Amen.
