Everything we do for God comes at a cost. It can be expensive to be effective for the kingdom, it could cost you everything that you ever wanted, everything you dreamed of having or doing, even your goals and ambitions for the future. God has entrusted some of His children with position, power, authority, and some with possessions to use for His glory. For the rest of us, He has given all of us one thing to give away that we can never get back, and that is time, and we need to remember that every moment we live needs to be used for His purpose, we need to be intentional to be at His disposal for His glory. “Christians” are called to make a difference in this world and once we figure out what that difference is, our lives will change forever, and for those we come in contact with, hopefully theirs will change for eternity. I pray often about what is written in *1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.* I have seen God’s sovereign hand involved in the lives of certain individuals that He has brought into my sphere of influence and have come to understand the responsibility that comes along with it. Brethren, we are the church, we are to be the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus, this is our time to show our lost and broken world the heart of God. We must be willing to serve the Lord with our whole being no matter what the cost. I read, ” Western Christianity uses faith to attain stability & comfort. Biblical Christianity risks life and limb to advance God’s Kingdom.” Have you noticed that Biblical Christianity is unpopular and Popular Christianity is unbiblical? Let me ask you a question, “What is more important to you than winning the souls of those around you for the kingdom?” for it is the only thing in the world that God and the devil are battling over. Not gold or silver, jobs or popularity, only souls. We need to put in perspective that nothing on earth is more precious than a lost soul and it also needs to be our greatest investment of time.
