In June of 2000 I became a born again believer in the Lord Jesus. From that day forward whenever I saw a need in the church I tried to fill it. Over the years since I got saved I have been led to do just about everything a person can do to minister to the world around me. To be clear, I have never been in ministry for the income, it has always been the outcome. I am not sure how many of those who know me realize that the majority of the ministry that I perform today is done on a volunteer basis. Most of my time in ministry I have worked regular jobs where it was 50-60 hours a week during the day and then continuing to minister in the evenings and weekends. When I went back to school in 2017 I did receive some support to help me pay a small part of my expenses but never enough to live on. I developed the habit of Pray, Hustle, Repeat. I would work odd jobs using the gifts and talents that God had given me to get by. Now that I am older it is not as easy as it once used to be. As I read certain scripture I came to trust that where God guides He provides, and He always did. I prayed over verses like what is written in *Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.* and *Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.* I can honestly say that God and God alone continues to strengthen me in my weakest moments, encourages me on my darkest days, and provides for me in some very interesting ways. I started writing devotionals and sharing what I believe God has laid on my heart more than 10 years ago, more as a way of therapy for me more than anything else. I have been told by many how they deeply relate to what I share. I cover a variety of topics, scriptures, trials, tribulations, joy, and achievements. I try to post quite a bit on FaceBook as an encouragement as well. A few months back a friend of mine started a blog for me, he set it up and taught me how to post. (pastord.blog ) I have been asked as to how others can come alongside me to be able to bless me as I have blessed them by what I share. I am putting this out for all to pray over.
