The things going on in the world may seem overwhelming and yet for the believer it should not be surprising if you have read your Bible. In the days of political theater and virtue signaling we are at a place in time whereas more information comes out, it is becoming a little more clear as to who is spreading misinformation and who is not. The information is being controlled and distorted, hate rhetoric is being used to stir up dangerous emotions. The world population for the most part has an irrational fear of what is to come. As we look to the scriptures, none of what is going on is unknown to God. It is written in *Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.* As believers we must never forget God’s promises, especially what is written in *Philippians 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. 7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.* Stand strong in the fight my beloved, you are not alone, we are in this together. Remember, we are not fighting for victory, we are fighting from victory. If the Lord is with us, who can stand against us?
